Syllabus ideas

My mother recently told me about this because she found it on her ipad and uses it for some of her patients. Zooburst is a tool in which allows people of any age to create their own 3D pop up book digitally. I believe that this could definitely be a great addition to our syllabus because not only is it fun, but it allows us to bring things to life and it seems like a good thing to look into.

Another great program I have heard about is PicLits. The program itself provides pictures and word banks allowing them to create statements about the pictures. The site said that “The object is to put the right words in the right place and the right order to capture the essence, story, and meaning of the picture.”  I think that we could benefit from it because we would be able to put words on the photos.

Piki Kids Comic. It’s pretty self explanatory but it allows students to create comics out of photos chosen and uploaded from their computers.
