The Story Begins

The fireplace crackled as Lewis sat down to do his assignment. There was a magin in the air, as if the essence of Hogwarts was captured in the very castle-like structure. Picking up his pencil, he made his first word: “the.” He froze. What was he going to say? How could he begin his epic tale? The pressure built and built just as the blood began to heat in his face. Writer’s block strikes again! “Why now,” he thought. Why this moment? Grinding his teeth, and without thinking, he furiously wrote a few words, and quickly finished without looking back. He started to read his story in front of the class: “the fireplace crackled,” he began.
