Zooming in on Premiere

To zoom in on footage using Adobe Premiere begin with choosing a clip in the sequence. Then click the Effect Control tab >>Motion. This opens a time marker sequence where you can add keyframes at the exact place you would like to zoom in.  Click on the toggle animation  button in the ‘scale’ tag which allows you to add keyframes.

Next, decide how much you would like to zoom by clicking the number next to the scale and changing it. A number of 200 for example would mean the image is twice its original size. You can gradually zoom in by adding keyframes in sequence and adjusting the scale as you go.

You have now successfully zoomed in on your footage!

One Response to “Zooming in on Premiere”

  1. It is a great tool to know in Adobe Premiere.
Before, I zoomed in when I film the video. After I know this, I don’t need to worry about how to film the video, because I could always edit it (zoom in/out) on Adobe Premiere.
